Air conditioning replacement and removal in Pudsey
Across Yorkshire, an air-to-air system is a practical way to replace old electric heaters, with cooling for the hottest spells. Replacements in Pudsey can often reuse an existing bracket and wall opening where they are sound.
Units over fifteen years old in Pudsey homes are worth replacing before they fail completely. Pudsey sits around 5 miles from Leeds, inside our West Yorkshire area. Postcode districts we cover here include LS28.
Prices in Pudsey
Budget around £185–£445 to remove and recover one system including VAT for air conditioning replacement and removal in and around Pudsey. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical Yorkshire and the Humber labour rates. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. Typical Like-for-like work (replace one system using sound existing routes) lands around £1,095–£2,145 in this area.

Planning and permissions
For most houses in Pudsey, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
Surveys in Pudsey cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare. A survey in Pudsey usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
