Air conditioning replacement and removal in Nuneaton
Away from the coast, West Midlands summers can turn hot quickly, and bedrooms under the roof are the first to suffer. Units over fifteen years old in Nuneaton homes are worth replacing before they fail completely.
Replacements in Nuneaton can often reuse an existing bracket and wall opening where they are sound. We cover Nuneaton and the rest of Warwickshire, including Rugby and Leamington Spa. Postcode districts we cover here include CV11.
Prices in Nuneaton
In the West Midlands, our guide range for air conditioning replacement and removal is £190–£495 to remove and recover one system, including VAT. That is broadly in line with national guide prices. The biggest variables are the pipe route, access for the outdoor unit and the state of the consumer unit, all of which the survey settles. Typical Like-for-like work (replace one system using sound existing routes) lands around £1,145–£2,195 in this area.

Planning and permissions
In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.
The survey
Surveys in Nuneaton cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare. At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote.
