Air conditioning replacement and removal in Market Drayton
Replacements in Market Drayton can often reuse an existing bracket and wall opening where they are sound. Away from the coast, West Midlands summers can turn hot quickly, and bedrooms under the roof are the first to suffer.
Units over fifteen years old in Market Drayton homes are worth replacing before they fail completely. Market Drayton lies roughly 16 miles from Telford, and we cover it as part of Shropshire. We cover TF9 and the streets around them.
Prices in Market Drayton
In the West Midlands, our guide range for air conditioning replacement and removal is £190–£495 to remove and recover one system, including VAT. That is broadly in line with national guide prices. The biggest variables are the pipe route, access for the outdoor unit and the state of the consumer unit, all of which the survey settles. Typical Like-for-like work (replace one system using sound existing routes) lands around £1,145–£2,195 in this area.

Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. A survey in Market Drayton usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
