Air conditioning replacement and removal in Brackley
Summer peaks in the East Midlands make bedrooms under the roof the hardest rooms to keep comfortable. Replacements in Brackley can often reuse an existing bracket and wall opening where they are sound.
Units over fifteen years old in Brackley homes are worth replacing before they fail completely. Brackley is about 19 miles from Northampton and falls within our Northamptonshire coverage. Postcode districts we cover here include NN13.
Prices in Brackley
Air conditioning replacement and removal in Brackley typically comes in at £185–£495 to remove and recover one system including VAT, based on East Midlands rates. Labour rates in the East Midlands keep this slightly under the national middle. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.
The survey
We book surveys in Brackley at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. A survey in Brackley usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
