Air conditioning replacement and removal in Barnet
Units over fifteen years old in Barnet homes are worth replacing before they fail completely. London's dense streets hold heat overnight, so top-floor flats and loft rooms often stay warm long after sunset.
Replacements in Barnet can often reuse an existing bracket and wall opening where they are sound. We cover Barnet as part of London, roughly 11 miles from central London. Postcode districts we cover here include EN5.

Planning and permissions
In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.
The survey
A survey in Barnet usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes. Surveys in Barnet cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare.
