Prices in Hyde
Our North West England guide price for air conditioning replacement and removal is £185–£445 to remove and recover one system, VAT included. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in North West England tend to be. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. As an example, the Like-for-like option (replace one system using sound existing routes) would typically be £1,095–£2,145 here.

Planning and permissions
For most houses in Hyde, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. We book surveys in Hyde at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards.
