Air conditioning replacement and removal in Eccles
During building work in Eccles, units can be recovered and removed so the job can go ahead safely. North West summers are cooler, so many systems here earn their keep as efficient heaters, with cooling for the warmest weeks.
Units over fifteen years old in Eccles homes are worth replacing before they fail completely. Our Greater Manchester coverage takes in Eccles, about 4 miles from Manchester. We cover M30 and the streets around them.
Prices in Eccles
Our North West England guide price for air conditioning replacement and removal is £185–£445 to remove and recover one system, VAT included. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical North West England labour rates. Longer or hidden pipe runs, high-level brackets and electrical upgrades are the usual reasons a quote lands at the top of the range. Typical Like-for-like work (replace one system using sound existing routes) lands around £1,095–£2,145 in this area.

Planning and permissions
For most houses in Eccles, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
We book surveys in Eccles at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. Surveys in Eccles cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare.
