Air conditioning replacement and removal in Widnes
Replacements in Widnes can often reuse an existing bracket and wall opening where they are sound. North West summers are cooler, so many systems here earn their keep as efficient heaters, with cooling for the warmest weeks.
Units over fifteen years old in Widnes homes are worth replacing before they fail completely. Widnes lies roughly 7 miles from Warrington, and we cover it as part of Cheshire. Coverage includes WA8.
Prices in Widnes
Air conditioning replacement and removal in Widnes typically comes in at £185–£445 to remove and recover one system including VAT, based on North West England rates. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical North West England labour rates. The biggest variables are the pipe route, access for the outdoor unit and the state of the consumer unit, all of which the survey settles. As an example, the Like-for-like option (replace one system using sound existing routes) would typically be £1,095–£2,145 here.

Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.
The survey
We book surveys in Widnes at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. A survey in Widnes usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
