Prices in Flitwick
In the East of England, our guide range for air conditioning replacement and removal is £220–£545 to remove and recover one system, including VAT. Prices here sit above the national middle, reflecting East of England labour rates and parking and access costs. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. As an example, the Like-for-like option (replace one system using sound existing routes) would typically be £1,295–£2,495 here.

Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.
The survey
A survey in Flitwick usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
