New build and renovation air conditioning in Consett
For new Consett extensions with flat roofs, the outdoor unit position is best agreed against the architect's drawings. In the North East, sizing for winter heating and then checking summer cooling usually gives the right system.
Renovations in Consett are the easiest jobs to make invisible, because the pipework goes in before the plaster. Consett is about 11 miles from Durham and falls within our County Durham coverage. That includes the DH8 postcode district.

Typical First and second fix work (complete install priced per room including units) lands around £1,345–£2,695 in this area.
First fix only

Ducted design and build

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Working with your builder
On build projects the main thing is timing with your builder and electrician; we fit first-fix pipework before plastering and agree the outdoor unit position early.
