New build and renovation air conditioning in Poole
For new Poole extensions with flat roofs, the outdoor unit position is best agreed against the architect's drawings. In the South West, a system that heats well through damp winters is often as valuable as summer cooling.
Renovations in Poole are the easiest jobs to make invisible, because the pipework goes in before the plaster. Poole lies roughly 5 miles from Bournemouth, and we cover it as part of Dorset. Coverage includes BH15.
Prices in Poole
Our South West England guide price for air conditioning for new builds and renovations is £395–£895 per indoor position (first fix), VAT included. It sits near the middle of UK prices. The biggest variables are the pipe route, access for the outdoor unit and the state of the consumer unit, all of which the survey settles. As an example, the First and second fix option (complete install priced per room including units) would typically be £1,450–£2,950 here.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Working with your builder
Because the pipework is built into the structure, coordination with your builder matters more than planning here; the outdoor unit follows the same rules as any other installation.
The survey
We book surveys in Poole at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
