New build and renovation air conditioning across County Armagh
For new Craigavon extensions with flat roofs, the outdoor unit position is best agreed against the architect's drawings. First-fix pipework in Craigavon extensions goes in while the joists and studs are open. Damp Northern Ireland winters make a heat pump's dehumidifying mode useful well beyond the summer.
Prices in County Armagh
Guide prices around County Armagh run from £365 to £795 per indoor position (first fix) including VAT. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical Northern Ireland labour rates. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. On our Northern Ireland figures, the First and second fix option (complete install priced per room including units) is about £1,345–£2,695.
First fix only

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Working with your builder
On build projects the main thing is timing with your builder and electrician; we fit first-fix pipework before plastering and agree the outdoor unit position early.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. A survey in County Armagh usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
