Multi-split air conditioning in Brymbo
Mild North Wales summers mean heat pump heating is usually the headline benefit. In a house in Brymbo with a usable loft, multi-split pipes can often run through it so the front stays clear.
Twin and triple systems suit Brymbo homes where bedrooms sit above the kitchen and one rear wall can take the outdoor unit. Brymbo lies roughly 3 miles from Wrexham, and we cover it as part of Clwyd. Coverage includes LL11.
Prices in Brymbo
In North Wales, our guide range for multi-split air conditioning is £2,295–£7,295 for 2–4 rooms, including VAT. Labour rates in North Wales keep this slightly under the national middle. Quotes move with the length of the pipe run, where the outdoor unit can sit and how much electrical work the job needs. As an example, the Triple option (three rooms with mixed indoor styles and Wi-Fi control throughout) would typically be £3,145–£5,095 here.
Twin
Two rooms on one outdoor unit, wall-mounted indoor units, standard routes.
Triple
Three rooms with mixed indoor styles and Wi-Fi control throughout.
Quad
Four or five rooms, longer concealed runs or a ducted unit in a loft void.
Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
Wales removed its old 3 m boundary rule on 1 June 2026, so most houses in Brymbo can now have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it meets the MCS 020a noise condition. Listed buildings still need consent, and conservation areas have extra restrictions.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
