Home gym and media room air conditioning in Barry
Basement and garage rooms in Barry usually need a quick check of the supply and the drainage route before quoting. Humid summer spells in South Wales make dehumidifying and cooling equally welcome.
For a home cinema in Barry, we place the indoor unit so airflow stays away from the screen and seating. Barry lies roughly 7 miles from Cardiff, and we cover it as part of South Glamorgan. We cover CF62 and the streets around them.

Planning and permissions
Wales removed its old 3 m boundary rule on 1 June 2026, so most houses in Barry can now have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it meets the MCS 020a noise condition. Listed buildings still need consent, and conservation areas have extra restrictions.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. A survey in Barry usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
