Home gym and media room air conditioning in Nelson
Milder summers in the North West mean designing for winter comfort as much as for a heatwave. Basement and garage rooms in Nelson usually need a quick check of the supply and the drainage route before quoting.
Garage gyms and media rooms in Nelson often face the same problem: thin walls and a lot of heat from people and equipment. Our Lancashire coverage takes in Nelson, about 21 miles from Preston. We cover BB9 and the streets around them.

Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.
The survey
On a survey in Nelson the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows.
