Planning and permissions
In Scotland, planning conditions for outdoor units depend on the property type and location; conservation areas and listed buildings need particular care.
The survey
Where travel is involved, we agree the survey arrangements and any travel cost up front. On the day, the engineer measures the rooms, checks the electrics and agrees the outdoor unit position with you. In Stromness we often start with photos, room measurements and the make of any existing system, so the survey visit is focused and any travel cost can be quoted in writing first.
