Floor console air conditioning in Droitwich
If your home in Droitwich is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit. In the West Midlands, sizing for winter heating first and then checking summer cooling usually gives the best all-year system.
Where a room in Droitwich has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear. Droitwich lies roughly 6 miles from Worcester, and we cover it as part of Worcestershire. Postcode districts we cover here include WR9.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
For most houses in Droitwich, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote. At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote.
