Floor console air conditioning in Northampton
The East Midlands gets warm, dry summer spells, and loft conversions and top-floor bedrooms are where the heat builds. Where a room in Northampton has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear.
If your home in Northampton is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit. As well as Northampton itself, our Northamptonshire coverage takes in Corby, Kettering and the towns around them. Homes in NN1 are all within our coverage.

If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
For most houses in Northampton, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
On a survey in Northampton the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows. The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
