Floor console air conditioning in Sevenoaks
Summers in the South East are among the warmest in the country, so cooling often comes first, with efficient winter heating as a bonus. If your home in Sevenoaks is bay-fronted or period, a console often suits it better than a high wall unit.
Where a house in Sevenoaks has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was. Sevenoaks sits around 14 miles from Maidstone, inside our Kent area. Homes in TN13 are all within our coverage.
Prices in Sevenoaks
Floor console air conditioning in Sevenoaks typically comes in at £1,645–£3,595 per room including VAT, based on South East England rates. That is above the UK middle, mainly because labour and access cost more in South East England. What moves a quote in Sevenoaks up or down is mostly pipe length, how high the outdoor unit goes, and whether a new electrical circuit is needed. For reference, the Popular option in Sevenoaks (quieter console with Wi-Fi control for a living room) usually comes to about £2,145–£2,845.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.
The survey
The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote. Surveys in Sevenoaks cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare.
