Floor console air conditioning in Harpenden
Long sunny spells in the East of England put conservatories and top-floor rooms under real pressure. Where a house in Harpenden has a bay window, a console can sit where the radiator was.
Where a room in Harpenden has deep cornicing or a picture rail, a console keeps the walls above it clear. We cover Harpenden as part of Hertfordshire, roughly 11 miles from Watford. Coverage includes AL5.

Planning and permissions
In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.
The survey
A survey in Harpenden usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes. At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote.
