Consent and planning for flats
Flats need more care: get your freeholder's written consent first, and expect the planning rules for a block of flats in Kirkby in Ashfield to be stricter than for a house. In England, permitted development allows one outdoor unit of up to 0.6 m³ on a block of flats; anything more needs planning permission.
