Prices in Ruthin
Guide prices around Ruthin run from £1,245 to £5,595 per flat, one room to the whole flat including VAT. Labour rates in North Wales keep this slightly under the national middle. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. Typical Two rooms work (twin multi-split for living room and main bedroom) lands around £2,495–£3,695 in this area.
Single room
One wall unit with a balcony outdoor unit.
Two rooms
Twin multi-split for living room and main bedroom.

Three or four rooms on one outdoor unit, concealed routes.
Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Consent and planning for flats
Flats need more care: get your freeholder's written consent first, and expect the planning rules for a block of flats in Ruthin to be stricter than for a house. In Wales, the rules for blocks of flats differ from those for houses, so we check with the council before quoting.
The survey
At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. On a survey in Ruthin the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows.
