Ducted air conditioning in Kington
Ducted systems suit Kington loft conversions and new extensions where ceilings are being boarded anyway. Away from the coast, West Midlands summers can turn hot quickly, and bedrooms under the roof are the first to suffer.
In an older house in Kington, the loft and any existing bulkheads decide whether a ducted layout will work. We cover Kington as part of Herefordshire, roughly 17 miles from Hereford. That includes the HR5 postcode district.

Planning and permissions
For most houses in Kington, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
A survey in Kington usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes. We book surveys in Kington at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards.
