Design-led and low-profile air conditioning across West Glamorgan
For Swansea houses with decorated or panelled walls, a slim unit with concealed pipework keeps the room looking finished. Design-led units suit Swansea homes with feature walls or open-plan rooms where the unit is always in view. Humid summer spells in South Wales make dehumidifying and cooling equally welcome.

Planning and permissions
In Wales, outdoor units of up to 1.5 m³ that meet MCS 020a noise limits are usually permitted development on houses; listed buildings need consent, and in conservation areas a unit cannot go on a wall or roof facing a road.
The survey
Surveys in West Glamorgan cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare. On a survey in West Glamorgan the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows.
