Design-led and low-profile air conditioning in Ketton
Design-led units suit Ketton homes with feature walls or open-plan rooms where the unit is always in view. The East Midlands gets warm, dry summer spells, and loft conversions and top-floor bedrooms are where the heat builds.
In Ketton, a flat-fronted unit is a neat way to add cooling to a living room without a bulky white box. Ketton is about 8 miles from Oakham and falls within our Rutland coverage. Homes in PE9 are all within our coverage.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.
The survey
On a survey in Ketton the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows. The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
