Design-led and low-profile air conditioning in Witney
Design-led units suit Witney homes with feature walls or open-plan rooms where the unit is always in view. Summers in the South East are among the warmest in the country, so cooling often comes first, with efficient winter heating as a bonus.
In Witney, a flat-fronted unit is a neat way to add cooling to a living room without a bulky white box. Our Oxfordshire coverage takes in Witney, about 10 miles from Oxford. Coverage includes OX8, OX28 and OX29.

South East England is one of the dearer parts of the UK for trades, which shows in the range. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
For most houses in Witney, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote. We book surveys in Witney at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards.
