Design-led and low-profile air conditioning in Rothwell
For Rothwell houses with decorated or panelled walls, a slim unit with concealed pipework keeps the room looking finished. East Midlands summers bring dry, sunny spells, so glazing and orientation matter most when sizing a unit.
Design-led units suit Rothwell homes with feature walls or open-plan rooms where the unit is always in view. Rothwell is about 12 miles from Northampton and falls within our Northamptonshire coverage. Postcode districts we cover here include NN14.
Prices in Rothwell
For Rothwell, expect roughly £1,795 to £3,495 per room, VAT included, adjusted for typical East Midlands rates. Labour rates in the East Midlands keep this slightly under the national middle. Longer or hidden pipe runs, high-level brackets and electrical upgrades are the usual reasons a quote lands at the top of the range. For reference, the Flat-fronted option in Rothwell (flat panel unit in white, black or silver for a living room) usually comes to about £2,145–£2,845.

Planning and permissions
In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.
The survey
We book surveys in Rothwell at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. A survey in Rothwell usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
