Design-led and low-profile air conditioning in Holywood
For Holywood houses with decorated or panelled walls, a slim unit with concealed pipework keeps the room looking finished. In Northern Ireland, homes on oil or electric heating can look at air-to-air systems for efficient warmth.
Design-led units suit Holywood homes with feature walls or open-plan rooms where the unit is always in view. Our County Down coverage takes in Holywood, about 6 miles from Bangor, County Down. That includes the BT18 postcode district.
Prices in Holywood
Our Northern Ireland guide price for design-led air conditioning is £1,695–£3,345 per room, VAT included. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in Northern Ireland tend to be. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. For reference, the Flat-fronted option in Holywood (flat panel unit in white, black or silver for a living room) usually comes to about £2,045–£2,695.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
Planning rules for outdoor units in Northern Ireland differ from Great Britain's, so we check your property with you and the council where needed.

At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. We book surveys in Holywood at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards.
