Design-led and low-profile air conditioning in Bude
Coastal breezes help, but inland South West towns and glazed rooms still see uncomfortable peaks. Design-led units suit Bude homes with feature walls or open-plan rooms where the unit is always in view.
In Bude, a flat-fronted unit is a neat way to add cooling to a living room without a bulky white box. We cover Bude as part of Cornwall, roughly 45 miles from Truro. We cover EX23 and the streets around them.

If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
For most houses in Bude, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
We book surveys in Bude at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. A survey in Bude usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
