For Monifieth houses with decorated or panelled walls, a slim unit with concealed pipework keeps the room looking finished. Long Scottish heating seasons make efficiency in cold, damp weather the thing to design around.
In Monifieth, a flat-fronted unit is a neat way to add cooling to a living room without a bulky white box. Monifieth sits around 6 miles from Dundee, inside our Angus and Dundee area. We cover DD5 and the streets around them.

HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
In Scotland, planning conditions for outdoor units depend on the property type and location; conservation areas and listed buildings need particular care.
The survey
Surveys in Monifieth cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare. The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
