Deep clean and odour treatment in Birmingham
A musty smell on start-up is the most common sign that an indoor unit in Birmingham needs a deep clean. In the West Midlands, sizing for winter heating first and then checking summer cooling usually gives the best all-year system.
If an indoor unit in Birmingham drips from the front, a blocked drain tray is often the cause, which a deep clean clears. As well as Birmingham itself, our West Midlands coverage takes in Coventry, Wolverhampton and the towns around them. Coverage includes B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 and 3 more.
Prices in Birmingham
In the West Midlands, our guide range for a deep clean and odour treatment is £140–£240 per indoor unit, including VAT. That is close to the UK middle for this kind of work. More indoor units, heavy build-up on the fan or a blocked drain line are what move the price towards the upper figure. On our West Midlands figures, the Two units option (deep clean of two indoor units on one visit) is about £260–£445.

Permissions
A deep clean does not touch the refrigerant circuit and needs no permissions. If the engineer finds a refrigerant problem, it is explained and priced separately before anything is done.
The visit
Before booking, tell us the make and model and what the system is doing. We confirm the visit price, then the engineer arrives with the right equipment and, where possible, the right parts. We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find.
