Deep clean and odour treatment in Cardiff
Wet South Wales winters make a heat pump's quiet, even heating and dehumidifying mode useful well beyond summer. A musty smell on start-up is the most common sign that an indoor unit in Cardiff needs a deep clean.
If an indoor unit in Cardiff drips from the front, a blocked drain tray is often the cause, which a deep clean clears. As well as Cardiff itself, our South Glamorgan coverage takes in Barry, Penarth and the towns around them. Homes in CF10, CF11, CF14, CF15, CF23 and CF24 are all within our coverage.
Prices in Cardiff
Guide prices around Cardiff run from £135 to £225 per indoor unit including VAT. It is a touch below the UK middle, as trade rates in South and Mid Wales tend to be. The price depends mainly on how many indoor units need cleaning and whether the fan and coil need a full strip-down. On our South and Mid Wales figures, the Two units option (deep clean of two indoor units on one visit) is about £245–£395.

Permissions
Cleaning the indoor unit is not refrigerant work. Anything the engineer finds beyond the clean, such as a leak or a failing fan, is explained and priced before it is touched.
The visit
Visits in Cardiff are booked at a price agreed with you in advance. If the engineer finds anything beyond the agreed work, they explain it and price it before carrying it out. A photo of the indoor unit's label and a short description of the problem help us price the visit accurately and bring what is likely to be needed.
