Deep clean and odour treatment in Rayleigh
Bright summers in the East of England mean solar gain through glass is usually the biggest load to design for. A musty smell on start-up is the most common sign that an indoor unit in Rayleigh needs a deep clean.
Homes near busy roads and kitchens around Rayleigh tend to need a deep clean more often. Rayleigh is about 6 miles from Southend-on-Sea and falls within our Essex coverage. Postcode districts we cover here include SS6.
Prices in Rayleigh
Budget around £160–£275 per indoor unit including VAT for a deep clean and odour treatment in and around Rayleigh. That is above the UK middle, mainly because labour and access cost more in the East of England. More indoor units, heavy build-up on the fan or a blocked drain line are what move the price towards the upper figure. On our East of England figures, the Two units option (deep clean of two indoor units on one visit) is about £295–£495.
One unit
Deep clean of a single indoor unit.

Deep clean of two indoor units on one visit.

Permissions
A deep clean does not touch the refrigerant circuit and needs no permissions. If the engineer finds a refrigerant problem, it is explained and priced separately before anything is done.
The visit
Before booking, tell us the make and model and what the system is doing. We confirm the visit price, then the engineer arrives with the right equipment and, where possible, the right parts. We agree the visit price before we come. On the day the engineer checks the system, carries out the agreed work and talks you through anything they find.
