Wall-mounted air conditioning in Whitehaven
Damp North West weather makes the dehumidifying mode of a modern split system genuinely useful for much of the year. In a semi or terrace in Whitehaven, the indoor unit often goes on a back bedroom wall with the outdoor unit on a bracket below.
Where a home in Whitehaven faces the street, the outdoor unit usually goes at the rear, out of sight. Whitehaven lies roughly 35 miles from Carlisle, and we cover it as part of Cumbria. Postcode districts we cover here include CA28.

If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
For most houses in Whitehaven, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
We book surveys in Whitehaven at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards. Surveys in Whitehaven cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare.
