Multi-split air conditioning in Rugby
Hot spells in the West Midlands are shorter but intense, especially in loft rooms and rooms with big windows. Multi-split is a good fit for Rugby flats and maisonettes where only a balcony or one rear wall is available.
Twin and triple systems suit Rugby homes where bedrooms sit above the kitchen and one rear wall can take the outdoor unit. We cover Rugby as part of Warwickshire, roughly 13 miles from Nuneaton. Homes in CV21 are all within our coverage.
Prices in Rugby
In the West Midlands, our guide range for multi-split air conditioning is £2,395–£7,595 for 2–4 rooms, including VAT. It sits near the middle of UK prices. Longer or hidden pipe runs, high-level brackets and electrical upgrades are the usual reasons a quote lands at the top of the range. For reference, the Triple option in Rugby (three rooms with mixed indoor styles and Wi-Fi control throughout) usually comes to about £3,295–£5,345.
Twin
Two rooms on one outdoor unit, wall-mounted indoor units, standard routes.
Triple
Three rooms with mixed indoor styles and Wi-Fi control throughout.
Quad
Four or five rooms, longer concealed runs or a ducted unit in a loft void.
Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
England's rules let most houses fit an outdoor unit without a planning application, as long as the size, number and MCS 020(a) noise conditions are met. Flats, listed buildings and roof-mounted units are treated differently.
The survey
The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote. We book surveys in Rugby at a time that suits you, including early evenings by arrangement, and send the written quote afterwards.
