Multi-split air conditioning in Lisburn
In Northern Ireland, cooling is mostly needed in conservatories and glazed rooms, while efficient heating benefits the whole home. Multi-split is a good fit for Lisburn flats and maisonettes where only a balcony or one rear wall is available.
In a house in Lisburn with a usable loft, multi-split pipes can often run through it so the front stays clear. Lisburn sits around 7 miles from Belfast, inside our County Antrim area. Postcode districts we cover here include BT27 and BT28.
Prices in Lisburn
Our Northern Ireland guide price for multi-split air conditioning is £2,245–£7,145 for 2–4 rooms, VAT included. That sits a little below the UK middle, reflecting typical Northern Ireland labour rates. Concealed pipework, access equipment for high walls and any electrical work are what push prices towards the upper figure. As an example, the Triple option (three rooms with mixed indoor styles and Wi-Fi control throughout) would typically be £3,095–£4,995 here.
Twin
Two rooms on one outdoor unit, wall-mounted indoor units, standard routes.
Triple
Three rooms with mixed indoor styles and Wi-Fi control throughout.
Quad
Four or five rooms, longer concealed runs or a ducted unit in a loft void.
Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.
Planning and permissions
Northern Ireland has its own planning rules for outdoor units, and conservation areas and listed buildings need particular care. We confirm the position for your property before installation.
