Ducted air conditioning in Lydney
For a renovation in Lydney, the best time to plan ducted cooling is before the plasterers arrive. Coastal breezes help, but inland South West towns and glazed rooms still see uncomfortable peaks.
In an older house in Lydney, the loft and any existing bulkheads decide whether a ducted layout will work. Lydney is about 15 miles from Gloucester and falls within our Gloucestershire coverage. Coverage includes GL15.

Planning and permissions
For most houses in Lydney, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.
The survey
A survey in Lydney usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes. At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote.
