Ducted air conditioning in Darlington
Cold, windy North East winters favour a well-sized heat pump with an outdoor unit sheltered from the prevailing wind. Ducted systems suit Darlington loft conversions and new extensions where ceilings are being boarded anyway.
In an older house in Darlington, the loft and any existing bulkheads decide whether a ducted layout will work. We cover Darlington as part of County Durham, roughly 17 miles from Durham. Homes in DL3 are all within our coverage.
Prices in Darlington

Planning and permissions
For most houses in Darlington, the outdoor unit is permitted development if it passes the MCS 020(a) noise check (37 dB(A) or less at the nearest neighbouring window) and stays within the size and number limits. We run that check on survey.

The free survey is where the real price is set: room measurements, pipe and drain routes, electrical checks and the outdoor unit position, all written into your quote.
