Ducted air conditioning in Wrexham
For a renovation in Wrexham, the best time to plan ducted cooling is before the plasterers arrive. Mild North Wales summers mean heat pump heating is usually the headline benefit.
Ducted systems suit Wrexham loft conversions and new extensions where ceilings are being boarded anyway. As well as Wrexham itself, our Clwyd coverage takes in Buckley, Deeside and the towns around them. Coverage includes LL13.
Prices in Wrexham
For Wrexham, expect roughly £5,095 to £14,045 per system, VAT included, adjusted for typical North Wales rates. Labour rates in North Wales keep this slightly under the national middle. What moves a quote in Wrexham up or down is mostly pipe length, how high the outdoor unit goes, and whether a new electrical circuit is needed. On our North Wales figures, the Zoned option (motorised dampers or two units for separate floors or room groups) is about £6,995–£10,295.

Planning and permissions
In Wales, outdoor units of up to 1.5 m³ that meet MCS 020a noise limits are usually permitted development on houses; listed buildings need consent, and in conservation areas a unit cannot go on a wall or roof facing a road.
The survey
On a survey in Wrexham the engineer looks at room size, glazing, the route for pipes and drains, the electrics and where the outdoor unit can sit quietly, then the written quote follows. A survey in Wrexham usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
