Ducted air conditioning in Brechin
In an older house in Brechin, the loft and any existing bulkheads decide whether a ducted layout will work. Long Scottish heating seasons make efficiency in cold, damp weather the thing to design around.
For a renovation in Brechin, the best time to plan ducted cooling is before the plasterers arrive. Brechin lies roughly 22 miles from Dundee, and we cover it as part of Angus and Dundee. We cover DD9 and the streets around them.

Planning and permissions
In Scotland, planning conditions for outdoor units depend on the property type and location; conservation areas and listed buildings need particular care.
The survey
A survey in Brechin usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes. Surveys in Brechin cover heat gain, pipe routes, electrics, access and noise to the nearest neighbour, so surprises on the day are rare.
