Bedroom and loft air conditioning in Evesham

Bedroom and loft air conditioning in Evesham

Hot spells in the West Midlands are shorter but intense, especially in loft rooms and rooms with big windows. Loft conversions and top-floor bedrooms in Evesham gain heat through the roof all day and give it back at night.

For bedrooms in Evesham, we place the outdoor unit at the back of the house, away from neighbours' windows. Our Worcestershire coverage takes in Evesham, about 13 miles from Worcester. That includes the WR11 postcode district.

Prices in Evesham

Our West Midlands guide price for bedroom and loft air conditioning is £1,145–£2,895 per room, VAT included. That is close to the UK middle for this kind of work. The biggest variables are the pipe route, access for the outdoor unit and the state of the consumer unit, all of which the survey settles. On our West Midlands figures, the Popular option (low-noise unit with Wi-Fi for a loft room or main bedroom) is about £1,495–£2,145.

Guide prices show VAT at 20%. HMRC treats most fixed air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps installed in homes as energy-saving materials, zero-rated until 31 March 2027 when we supply and fit them. If your installation qualifies, your quote shows 0% VAT and a lower price. Servicing, repairs, cleaning and controls are charged at 20%.

Planning and permissions

In England, most houses can have an outdoor unit under permitted development if it is no larger than 1.5 m³, meets the MCS 020(a) noise limit of 37 dB(A) at the nearest neighbour's window, and there are no more than two on a detached house or one on other houses. Listed buildings need consent.

The survey

At the survey we look at how each room is used, where the sun hits it and how the pipes can reach the outside wall, then put it all in a written quote. A survey in Evesham usually takes one to two hours. We measure the rooms, check the walls and the consumer unit, agree the outdoor unit position with you and photograph the pipe routes.
