Air conditioning repairs in Stornoway

Air conditioning repairs in Stornoway

Wind and salt air in the north of Scotland mean outdoor unit placement and protection need extra thought. For Stornoway systems over fifteen years old, the repair quote comes with a replacement price alongside it.

Fault codes on Stornoway systems are read on the first visit, so the repair is quoted against the real cause. Stornoway is one of the main towns we cover in Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles, alongside Kirkwall and Lerwick. Homes in HS1 are all within our coverage.

Prices in Stornoway

Our Highlands, Islands and North East Scotland guide price for air conditioning repairs is £135–£1,095 typical repair, VAT included. The price depends mostly on how many indoor units there are and how easy the outdoor unit is to reach. As an example, the Standard repair option (fan motor, condensate pump or control board) would typically be £265–£595 here. Travel, ferry or accommodation costs for Stornoway are not in these figures. They are quoted to you as a fixed amount in writing before you book.

The visit

Photos of the indoor unit's label and a description of the problem help us plan a visit to Stornoway properly and quote the full cost first. Because travel is involved, we confirm the visit date and the full price in writing first, and where possible combine visits to keep the cost down.
